前晚（11月5日），全球真人秀《RuPaul's Drag Race UK》第八季於 BBC 播出尾集，26 歲的倫敦女王 Flesh 當選冠軍。是次為該節目在 BBC 的最後一季：取消決定於最新一季開始播出後不久宣佈，BBC 表示面對「重大財務壓力」，須作出「非常艱難的抉擇」。
Flesh 於末集挑戰中勝出，由同樣晉級決賽的 Mocha、Naya Thorn 及 Alik 手中奪冠，並領受 25,000 英鎊獎金。是晚最後四位女王須表演一段由歷季「女團合唱經典」拼成的巨混（megamix）；Alik 被淘汰後，Flesh、Mocha 及 Naya Thorn 合演 Bowie 的《Modern Love》。Flesh 全季未曾跌入最低兩名（bottom two），直到末集才首次需要 lip-sync。
為她加冕的是上季冠軍、亦是其摯友與 drag sister 的 Bones；兩人以「Heavenly Bodies」之名同台演出。Flesh 在台上表示：「To be here with Bones is just the perfect moment, this is everything I have ever dreamed of and more」。她對 RuPaul 及評判 Michelle Visage 又稱，節目「tells people it's not only OK to be them but it's a gift and a dream」。RuPaul 讚 Flesh 全季的時裝造型「will go down in the franchise's history」。
